The new all-mountain weapon in the K2 range. The Gateway Pop is the more responsive version of the Gateway. Intermediate to advanced riders use it to make the entire mountain unsafe and pick up one or two freestyle features along the way. An easy-to-maintain but fast base, the forgiving Directional Combination Camber profile and a predictable Aspen core provide pure all-mountain pleasure. The K2 Gateway Pop marries a classic directional twin share and a progressive Carbon Camber Profile, creating the ultimate for-everyone board that’s perfect for ripping down an open powder field, perfectly spaced tree runs or your favorite line the park.
*Wider than normal boards and developed especially for snowboarders with large feet (EU size 44+) to avoid too much overhang of the boots. Wider boards also give you better float in powder.

Construction : ICG™ Carbon Glass – Integrating tip-to-tail carbon fiber stringers into fiberglass lay-ups ensures a smooth power release in and out of turns while increasing pop, liveliness, and longevity of the snowboard without adding unnecessary rigidity. K2 offers ICG™ glass in two variations; ICG™ 10 Biax Glass and ICG™ 20 Triax.
Biaxial Glass – Smooth all-purpose performance with a no-frills design. Fibers are woven together at 0°. This makes for a more responsive ride longitudinally and torsionally.
Sidewalls : Hybritech™ – Hybritech™ is the most efficient way to make a snowboard without sacrificing one ounce of performance. Featuring sidewalls along the running surface that flow into the nose and tail, providing low swing-weight while extending the wood core all the way to the tip of the board for optimized turning initiation and durability.
Flex : Flex Rating –Medium/Stiff 6 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) .The medium flex is ideal for the all-mountain design of this board. Hard enough for powerful turns but still soft enough for a playful ride
