Baseplate
Module™ Chassis : Featured on all K2’s new bindings, the Module chassis is composed of a fiberglass infused nylon, and minimizes “dead” board flex zones directly underneath the binding. This in turn allows the rider to feel the flex and response of the entire board length, while providing maximum support, security, comfort, and vibration damping.
This Grips™ Basepad : K2’s proprietary rubber compound, integrated onto the bottom of the Module chassis, provides vibration damping and cushion between board and binding, reducing fatigue and joint impact.

3° Sugarcane EVA Canted Harshmellow™ Footbed with Pods : Derived from scrap native sugarcane raised with minimal impact on rain forests, the footbeds on the Module chassis represent a huge leap toward the goal of carbon net-neutrality. Integrated with K2’s proprietary Harshmellow™ technology, these eco-conscious footbeds provide grip, cushion, and performance for all day riding in every condition.

Highback
AM1 Highback : K2’s new AM1 Highback harnesses the strength and sustainability of the castor bean, and represents a huge step toward the goal of carbon net-neutrality. All new and feature on the women’s Albany and men’s Edition binding.
Forward Lean Block : A traditional forward lean adjustment allow the rider to fine-tune the response of the binding and board.

Straps
MultiMount™ Ankle Strap Mount Points : Featured on the Module™ Chassis, multiple mount points for the ankle strap on the Module chassis allow for a fine-tuned, custom fit.
Single Density SD1 Ankle Strap : K2’s new single density toe strap harnesses the strength and sustainability of the castor bean, and represents a huge step toward the goal of carbon net-neutrality.
Dual Density Betterwrap Toe Strap : K2’s dual-density straps offer the best of both worlds, a softer inner material provides a seamless connection to your boot, and more rigid outer material provides with unrivaled response.

A Cleaner Connection
K2 always puts Mother Nature first. To do this, the production prioritizes its time, energy, and resources into developing a product that not only performs best in class but has a smaller environmental impact than a traditional snowboard binding. Using Eco-Conscious and recycled materials in place of the plastics and EVA that are traditionally used to manufacture highbacks, ankle straps, toe straps, ratchets, and more. The result is impressive reductions in the carbon footprint.
