The ultra-light and durable touring pin binding with extra long travel and a pre-mounted brake. The Long Travel version of the Alpinist offers a heel adjustment range of 30 mm (-7.5 + 22.5 mm) after assembly, for better adaptation to different sole lengths. In comparison, the normal Alpinist offers 15 mm (+/- 7.5 mm) heel adjustment range. The Alpinist offers active length compensation during ski flex and an impressive power transfer downhill due to a 38 mm drill pattern. The carbon-reinforced toe provides great stiffness and comes with anti-ice pads and integrated elastomers for easy stepping in. The heel features a climbing aid with 0°, 5° and 9° angle and allows super convenient switching between hike and ride mode.Your whole setup is as light as you can make it without sacrificing reliability, and a 500 gram tech binding feels like an anchor on your feet. You need the Marker Alpinist 12 Alpine Touring Ski Bindings ASAP. Super light at 245 grams per side without brakes, but with features like three climbing levels, fore-aft adjustability and elastic travel at the heel, and the option to add a brake that simply aren't available with race tech bindings, the Alpinist sets a new bar for sustained backcountry travel.
We recommend a pair of bindings
with a brake from 5 up to 10 mm wider than the skis. Please feel free to
contact our customer service if you have a question about binding
compatibility. If you buy skis and bindings together we can mount them for you free of charge.
