The new Mindbender 116C updated its shape and rocker profiles to maximize float, stability and maneuverability. The ski features K2’s patented Spectral Braid technology, Bio Resin and Uni-Directional Flax. Derived from the stalks of flax plants, this lightweight and sustainable natural-fiber reinforcement fabric improves the ski’s ability to track in variable terrain, improving suspension and composure. The K2 Mindbender 116 C Skis are everything you've been looking for in a powder ski and more. Their wide waist width and powder rocker profile provide float and stability when the snow is deep, but they're easy to whip around when things get steep and sketchy. The Powder Rocker is designed for unmatched flotation in deep snow. This tip has the most elevation and longest rocker and offers skiers a surfy feel with enhanced soft-snow performance. The camber still exists to ensure edge hold in firmer conditions. Inspired by pro athletes and tuned to tap into that euphoric feeling of floating, the K2 Mindbender 116 C Skis are perfect for powder hounds trying to sniff out their next stash.
This ski does not come with bindings. We recommend a pair of bindings with a brake from 5 up to 10 mm wider than the ski. Please feel free to contact our customer service if you have a question about binding compatibility. If you buy skis and bindings together we can mount them for you free of charge.
K2 Mindbender Collection
A true passion project, the Mindbender Collection was designed for freeriders everywhere. Whether you're looking for a big mountain setup, a powerful and stable all-mountain slayer or a quick and precise bump eater, the Mindbender collection has what you're looking for. Mindbender is also hundreds of hours of designing, testing and tweaking. Through the process, K2 engineers focused on tuning the torsional and longitudinal flex properties of each model in the line for an optimal blend of edge grip and driftability. Two solutions emerged from this philosophy - a Y-shaped Titanal beam in the Ti models, and a variable angle carbon braid in the non-Titanal models. The Mindbender collection emphasizes performance in varying conditions and is purpose engineered for cutting through everything, for the most planted, yet fun freeride experience.
