The highly functional, padded ZNR men's freeride jacket RIKKARD MAN is the perfect companion for freeriding. The breathable, waterproof and windproof ZIENER AQUASHIELD® membrane (water column 10,000mm/breathability 10,000g/m²/24h) ensures a warm and dry climate. In addition, the high-quality insulation mix (60g/m² padding) is designed against extreme cold - keeps you particularly warm and offers excellent thermal insulation. The lavalan® wool padding ensures optimum comfort by creating a natural climate without overheating. The high collar provides additional warmth. The wool layer at the back provides optimum thermoregulation. Thanks to the environmentally friendly waterproofing, the jacket is PFC-free. Technical details such as an adjustable functional hood and elasticated inner sleeve cuffs contribute to the high level of functional comfort of this jacket. The underarm vents provide the necessary ventilation. Waterproof zippers and a snow guard are also part of the basic equipment. The zippered chest pocket and numerous pockets for ski goggles, sunglasses, smartphone and ski pass make the jacket indispensable. ZIENER AQUASHIELD® membrane
This membrane distinguishes products that are waterproof and windproof to ensure a warm and dry climate. Their sponge structure ensures that water vapor can pass unhindered through the membrane to the outside and no water droplets can penetrate. The escape of water vapor through the gloves is determined not only by the material composition and resistance to evaporation, but also by the external climate. The permeability varies greatly depending on the body temperature in relation to the outside temperature. Depending on this, the vapor can escape or condense inside the gloves. This effect is completely independent of the material. Due to the low outside temperatures during winter sports, the condensation point is almost always in the glove.

lavalan® wool insulation
lavalan® is a highly functional wool filling made entirely from renewable raw materials, from European virgin wool and a corn-based fiber called polylactide (PLA). Virgin wool is a natural product with all the advantages of a high-tech material. Its unrivaled breathability ensures pleasant warmth and a constant body climate, making it ideal for use in outdoor clothing. Wool is able to neutralize bad odors and therefore contributes to longer use without unnecessary washing. It keeps you warm even when damp and is hypoallergenic. Best of all, wool is biodegradable and decomposes in both soil and water. All lavalan® products are thermally bonded during the manufacturing process. The PLA bonds the wool fibers in countless places, creating a durable and robust, yet soft and comfortable fiber filling for all types of textiles.

PFC-free products
In the case of PFC-free products, attention is paid to an environmentally friendly PFC-free impregnation that offers the same level of water repellency. PFC (perfluorina-ted and polyfluorinated chemicals) refers to a large group of chemicals that are intermediates, excipients or degradation products of certain fluorocarbon compounds. These are environmentally harmful substances. PFCs are used because of their water-, dirt- and grease-repellent properties. ZIENER is constantly working to remove the questionable PFCs from the lifecycle of its products.
