Tubbs Flex Trk 24 snowshoes are multi-purpose shoes, designed to deliver excellent traction in variable conditions from slick ice to hard-packed snow. Heel lifters improve performance on inclines.The molded Flex deck increases articulation, allowing the shoes to truly flex with your stride to enhance both traction and maneuverability. The use of "cutaways", a narrow, tapered profile and thinner material at either end of the shoes keeps weight to a minimum while maintaining flotation. The unique Tubbs flex tail absorbs the shock of heel strikes, reducing stress on your joints and further enabling you to maintain a natural, comfortable stride. 180 EZ bindings provide a simple, single-buckle tightening mechanism, coupled with easy-to-use wings and a heel strap for efficient, lightweight support. A built-in ActiveLift heel lifter reduces fatigue when trekking up inclines. Toe crampons and micro-serrated 3D curved traction rails ensure superior sidehill grip in hard-packed and icy conditions. The curved shape of the rails help prevent fore-aft slippage on steep terrain.
