The TR 6.1 Trekking Merino Medium from the German manufacturer P.A.C. are made of a sustainable mix of recycled fabrics from marine litter and PET bottles, together with merino wool. This creates wonderfully comfortable functional socks made of elastic, light material that is perfectly suitable for your active outdoor days and also everyday use. In addition this model has another benefit, as it repels ticks & mosquitoes, thanks to the treated fabric without the use of Deet or Permethrin, so that they have been classified as harmless to health by the WHO. The classic calf-high hiking sock has an ergonomic left / right fit, extra flat toe seams and flexible channels for a secure fit on the foot and at the same time excellent wearing comfort without feeling restricted. The P.A.C. Cell-Tech technology ensures optimal cushioning and pressure relief in the foot area. Padding on the back of the foot and extra padding in the ankle area offer your foot additional protection. Available in different colors!

Merino wool is popular all over the world because of its softness, breathability and temperature-regulating properties. It is 100% natural, renewable and biodegradable. Merino wool is naturally antibacterial and absorbs sweat’s odor molecules, which are released only upon washing. Evolved over millions of years to protect sheep better against the elements, Merino wool absorbs UV radiation. Wool’s natural structure makes woolen items exceptionally flame resistant. While cotton, for example, ignites at 255°C, Merino wool will not catch fire until 590°C. All those amazing natural qualities make Merino wool extremely comfortable to wear.
