K2 World Peace Wide - Men's snowboard

If your ideal snowboard treats the entire mountain like a terrain park, feelsat home sliding rails and boxes, and ventures into the streets from time to time, look no further than the all-new K2 World Peace. Twin in both shape and flex, the World Peace features a smooth flexing single-species core profile that we engineered to lock into presses and butters with ease.  Its core is constructed of 100% Aspen, a lightweight, renewable timber built to absorb shocks and take a beating. We wrap the core in a biax fiberglass--with fibers intersecting at a 90º angle--giving riders the ability to manipulate their tricks and a relaxed feel between features.Lastly, we gave the World Peace a hard, fast, sintered 4000 base - a material that is genuinely as tough as nails to stand up to the abuse that freestyle snowboarding dishes out. Graphically, we worked with K2 Snowboarding Staff Photographer Marc O’Malley to help bring the World Peace some new energy for 2024. A bright, poppy base makes it so that your tricks catch people's attention in the park, and a clean top sheet is the perfect canvas for stickers and maybe even a little bit of illustration yourself.
*Wider than normal boards and developed especially for snowboarders with large feet (EU size 44+) to avoid too much overhang of the boots. Wider boards also give you better float in powder.

Freestyle : Freestyle or park snowboards tend to be a bit shorter in length and love terrain parks, rails, jibs, trash cans, tree trunks, riding switch (non-dominant foot forward), wall rides and more. Freestyle boards often feature a true twin shape, and are typically selected by those looking to ride the terrain park. A more versatile variant of a freestyle board is the all-mountain freestyle, which combines the versatility of an all mountain snowboard with the playfulness of a freestyle snowboard.

Nose and tail have the same length and width and are combined with centred, radial waisting. The snowboard rides forward just like it rides switch.
Construction : Biaxial Glass – Smooth all-purpose performance with a no-frills design. Fibers are woven together at 0° and 90°, creating a more forgiving flex pattern. This makes for a more responsive ride longitudinally and torsionally.
Sidewalls : Hybritech™ – Hybritech™ is the most efficient way to make a snowboard without sacrificing one ounce of performance. Featuring sidewalls along the running surface that flow into the nose and tail, providing low swing-weight while extending the wood core all the way to the tip of the board for optimized turning initiation and durability.
Flex : Flex Rating –Medium 5 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) A medium flex ensures precise response, yet with enough flex to butter and jib.
Base : Sintered 4000 Base – The sintered 4000 base absorbs wax deep into the material for relentless glide and unrivaled durability.
