BOA® on ski boots? Yep, you read that right. It’s the biggest advancement in skiing, let alone boot fitting in sixty years. You’ve seen this feature on snowboard boots, bike shoes, and even running shoes, so it’s about time we put our heads together with the minds at BOA® Fit System to bring something new to skiing, with a laser focus on performance. Harnessing the power of a BOA® Fit System, K2 engineers got to work delivering our most adjustable fit with performance-enhancing features. The all-new Recon 110 BOA® is packed with tech and designed for all mountain exploration. Outfitted with the all-new BOA® Fit System and MultiFit Last which was specifically designed to fit a variety of foot shapes resulting in dialed in performance and a micro-adjustable precision fit. Featuring the same heat moldable Powerlite shell, FastFit Instep, and honeycomb boot board as its stiffer siblings in the Recon collection but with softer flex for intermediate skiers looking to ride all over the mountain.
Unmatched Lightweight Alpine Performance. Rigid, Powerful, Light, and Comfortable—we rethought everything about how an alpine boot should feel and ski and created the K2 Recon 110. By combining four different TPU's with an optimal shell wall thickness to construct our all-new Powerlight shell, we've engineered a boot designed for elite performance with the lowest possible weight. Stiffer PU is strategically placed where boot meets bindings and along the spine of the boot for immediate power transfer, and medium and softer PU surrounds the body of the foot and near the instep to dampen vibration for ease of entry. The shell is fully TPU heat moldable so you and your boot tech can dial in the fit to your specific foot features. The FastFit instep entry feature helps the boot slide off and on with ease. The result is one of the lightest performance ski boots on the market.
