The K2 Excavator is a unisex snowboard designed for freeride, powder and powerful carving on piste. The Directional shape with Camber, wider profile and 20 mm taper provide stability, comfort for larger boot sizes and excellent performance in deep snow. The construction combines the S1 Core with ICG™ 10 Glass with Carbon, while the Carbon Power Forks™ add extra energy through turns and jumps. The Volume Shift™ technology allows the use of a shorter board without sacrificing performance, while reducing swing weight and boot contact with the snow.

S1 Core – Balance, Durability and ResponseThe S1 Core combines Bamboo, Aspen and Paulownia, using the characteristics of each wood where they are needed. Full-length Bamboo strips
provide flex, durability and vibration absorption, while lightweight Paulownia reduces weight.
Aspen and Bamboo beneath the feet increase strength and edge-to-edge response.
ICG™ 10 Glass with Carbon – Response and EnergyThe ICG™ 10 Glass with Carbon enhances pop, energy and board durability without adding unnecessary stiffness.
The construction provides smooth and controlled response underfoot.
Carbon Power Fork™ – Energy Through TurnsThe Carbon Power Fork™ is a pre-curved carbon reinforcement positioned in the rear section of the board. It adds energy when entering and
exiting turns, while providing additional pop for jumps and landings.
Volume Shift™ – More Surface Where It MattersThe Volume Shift™ technology shifts more surface area from the tip and tail toward the center of the board. This reduces swing weight
and boot contact with the snow, allowing the rider to choose a board approximately 4-10 cm shorter than usual.
Wax-Infused Sintered 4001 – Speed and DurabilityThe Sintered 4001 Base is made from a hard and fast material that retains wax for longer. It provides smooth glide and consistent performance
in different snow conditions. The base features a Stone Finish for improved performance when in contact with the snow.
Hybritech™ Construction – Low Weight and DurabilityThe Hybritech™ Construction removes excess material from the tip and tail, reducing the overall weight and swing weight
of the board. At the same time, the specialized edge construction strengthens the material bond and contributes to the overall durability of the construction.
K2 provides a specific weight range for each available length. For the Excavator, the range varies from 41 to 95+ kg, depending on the length. Thanks to Volume Shift™ technology, K2 recommends using a board approximately 4-10 cm shorter than usual. The final size selection should take into account the rider's weight, height, ability level, snowboard boot size and riding style.
