The K2 Alchemist is K2's flagship freeride snowboard, designed for experienced snowboarders who demand high levels of precision, stability and response across the entire mountain. It is a directional freeride snowboard with a Directional Camber profile, designed to provide strong edge hold, precise turn performance and stability at high speeds, while maintaining excellent flotation in powder. The new S1 Pro Core uses strategically positioned Paulownia, Bamboo and Aspen woods to reduce weight, dampen vibrations and provide dynamic energy transfer. Recess3D technology removes material from low-stress areas in the tip and tail, reducing swing weight and limiting vibrations without sacrificing structural strength. The variable-angle Spectral Braid™ allows K2 to precisely tune the board's flex and torsional behavior, providing strong edge hold and smooth, predictable turn initiation. In the nose, SpaceGlass™ technology reduces weight, increases pressure at the contact points and contributes to vibration damping. The construction is completed with Hybritech™ Construction and a Wax-Infused Sintered 4001 Base, providing durability, fast glide and excellent wax retention. The Alchemist is designed for Freeride, Big Mountain, Powder and Piste and is intended for Advanced – Expert riders.

Binding Information
Compatibility : The board features 2 x 4 Inserts and is compatible with the corresponding snowboard bindings. The insert configuration allows stance adjustment according to the rider's preferences.

response and edge hold with slight early-rise in the nose. The design provides strong and predictable
performance at high speeds, while the raised nose helps the board float effectively in powder.
S1 Pro Core – Lightweight and Advanced CoreThe S1 Pro Core is the Alchemist's advanced core and uses strategically positioned
Paulownia, Bamboo and Aspen woods. Paulownia in the nose and tail reduces swing weight, while Bamboo stringers
contribute to vibration damping and dynamic rebound. Aspen reinforcements underfoot
increase durability and energy transfer.
Recess3D – Reduced Swing WeightRecess3D technology uses precise CNC machining to remove material from low-stress areas
in the nose and tail. This reduces overall swing weight and limits vibrations, while
thicker areas along the edges maintain the required structural strength and stability.
Spectral Braid™ – Tunable Response and FlexSpectral Braid™ is a variable-angle reinforcement that allows precise tuning of torsional stiffness and
flex along the board. The different fiber orientations allow K2 to precisely control the response of the
nose, center and tail, providing strong edge hold and smooth turn initiation.
SpaceGlass™ – Lightweight and Stable NoseSpaceGlass™ is a USA-made aerospace-grade fiberglass insert positioned in the nose of the board.
It contributes to reduced weight, increases pressure at the contact points and helps dampen vibrations,
providing greater stability in demanding and variable terrain.
Wax-Infused Sintered 4001 Base – Speed and DurabilityThe Wax-Infused Sintered 4001 Base uses high-performance sintered material designed for fast glide and increased
durability. The base retains wax for longer, maintaining smooth and fast glide across different
snow conditions.
Hybritech™ Construction – Low Weight and DurabilityHybritech™ Construction combines sidewalls along the running surface with 3D capped edge construction in the nose and tail.
The construction reduces swing weight, increases the durability of the material connection and allows the creation of a lightweight and durable
board without sacrificing performance.
K2 provides a rider weight range for each available length. The final size selection should take into account the rider's weight, height, ability level and preferred riding style. The W versions feature a wider waist width and are intended for riders who require additional clearance for larger snowboard boot sizes.
