Want an all-mountain destroyer that will happily navigate tight trees and stubborn rock-infested steeps, with enough edge grip to handle the hard groomers on the way back to the lift? We can’t guarantee that the QST 98 will make you ski like Nico Vuignier, but we bet that you’ll love the innovative freeride shape that keeps this ski winning awards year after year. The 98’s full sandwich double sidewalls and cork damplifier create stability in the park and pow, while rocker plus traditional camber make this ski a favorite for all.
This ski does not come with bindings. We recommend a pair of bindings with a brake from 5 up to 10 mm wider than this ski. Please feel free to contact our customer service if you have a question about binding compatibility. If you buy skis and bindings together we can mount them for you free of charge.

DETAILS
Gender : Men's
Type: All Mountain , Freeride , Piste
Riding Style: Freeride
Ski Terrain : All-mountain - All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.- All mountain
Ability Level: Advanced
Rocker Type: Freeride Profile – Tip Rocker 26%, Camber underfoot, Tail Rocker 22%
Freeride profile. The skis' medium camber delivers good grip on hard-packed snow, while a progressive, long rocker in the tip and tail facilitates floating above soft snow.

Construction: Full Sandwich Sidewalls – A laminate construction with full length ABS sidewalls gives extraordinary smooth ski/snow contact and great terrain adaptation. Laminated construction enables Salomon to combine optimum material layers for targeted performance.
Cork Damplifier: Cork is three times more absorbing than Koroyd. Using it in the tip of the ski enables a high level of vibration absorption and dampening with even less weight.
Core Material: Poplar Full Woodcore – A woodcore from tip to tail offers optimum stability on snow and powerful rebound. Maximizes ski-to-snow contact and filters vibrations.
Laminates : C/FX Carbon Weave – C/FX is a fiber layer consisting of Carbon and Flax woven together. It combines the strength, stability, minimal weight of carbon with the increased level of dampening of the flax.
Ti Binding Reinforcement: A titanal insert edge-to-edge underfoot, running throughout the ski, for maximal power and increased hard snow edging.
Shape : Directional - Freeriders, ski-tourers and carvers love this shape for power and more stability.
Tip Width mm: 133
Waist Width mm : 98
Tail Width mm : 121
Tail Type : Partial Twin Tip
Partial twin tip skis have a tail that is turned up, but not as much as the tip. This gives you the ability to ski backwards and back out of tight spaces, but these skis are mainly designed to ski forward.
Binding Din Range: No Bindings
Manufacturer Warranty: 1 Years
Radius: 16m @ 176

The smaller the radius, the better the turning ability. A large radius brings a smoother ride at high speeds. 17-22 m radius is best for all-mountain and park & pipe.
Bindings: No
Base : Sintered Base -hard and fast, but a little higher maintenance, the best choice for powder.
Weight: 1990g/ski @ 183cm
