K2 Disruption Collection
K2 has a long history of going against the grain and innovating skis for all the world to follow. Skis that have pushed boundaries, experimented with shape and technology and flat out rip. When it came time to innovate Piste Performance and All-Mountain categories, K2 went back to outer space and changed the game yet again. The result is the K2 Disruption, with Dark Matter Damping for drastically improved edge contact for a smoother, more planted arc in hard snow.

DETAILS
Gender : Women's
Type: all-mountain - on piste carving
Ski Terrain : All mountain - All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.
On piste carving - For those that like the classic feeling of laying a ski over on edge and arcing a perfect turn, carving skis are what you want. These skis have narrower waists and shorter turn radii for edge to edge quickness and responsive turn initiation and exit on groomed runs and hard pack. The beginner-intermediate skis in this category are designed to make learning how to turn easy .
Shape: Stance Forward – The overall shape and sidecut of the ski are optimized to fit perfectly with the suggested mid-sole, ensuring a perfectly balanced ski.
Ability Level: Intermediate Advanced
Rocker Type: Catch-Free Rocker

Catch-Free Rocker - For effortless turn initiation at slow and moderate speeds with a gentle, gradual rise in the tip and tail
Construction: Hybrid Sidewall Construction : Blending a sidewall construction underfoot with a full cap construction in the extremities. The sidewall section gives the ski accuracy, power and performance while the capped regions reduce overall ski weight and ease turn initiation and finish.
I-Beam Construction – Tip to tail reinforcement along the center of the ski, optimally shaped for stability and precision through the entire turn.
Core Material: Wood Aspen Light Core – Lightweight and resilient, the perfect all around core material.
Laminate : Wood
Tip Width mm: 126
Waist Width mm : 76
Tail Width mm : 110

Din Range: 3-10
Manufacturer Warranty: 1 Year
Radius: 11.8m @ 156

The smaller the radius, the better the turning ability. A large radius brings a smoother ride at high speeds.
Bindings: ERP 10 COMPACT QUIKCLIK
Base : Sintered bases represent the premium end of ski base constructions. Granules of polythene are ground to powder, then heated and compressed onto your core. A sintered base is much more durable, faster and holds wax much more efficiently giving you a faster ride! Unfortunately you do pay more for this type of construction but it’s well worth it.
