Nor is it shy of contact with cold and wet late autumn weather. The waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex membrane provides support in all weathers and for all activities. The winter sneaker’s grippy Vibram® Predator sole proves its worth on icy terrain, so it’s equally suited for exploratory tours of the city and on trips that head off the beaten path. Uneven and rocky passages are cushioned by the pleasant shock absorption of the EVA midsole. The tucked seam sole is extremely stable and is a loyal companion through numerous winters. Its love of mountainous terrain is also reflected by the Dachstein triangles embossed into the nubuck leather sides. The end of the shaft is completed with a suede velour leather inset. The classic shades of brandy or blue are well-suited to everyday scenarios and city breaks in the colder months. The warm and breathable inner microfibre lining ensures feet feel great on long days out. Skyline GTX is also available in a mid-cut version in a variety of colours.
