The highly functional, padded ZNR men's freeride pants RAPPOLD MAN are the perfect companion for freeriding and impress with their casual design. The breathable, windproof and waterproof ZIENER AQUASHIELD® membrane (water column 10,000mm/breathability 10,000g/m²/24h) ensures a warm and dry climate. In addition, a high-quality insulation mix (60g/m² padding) ensures extra warmth and comfort even in extreme cold: lavalan® wool padding ensures a natural climate without overheating. Thanks to the environmentally friendly waterproofing, the trousers are PFC-free. Waterproof zippers prevent moisture from penetrating. The adjustable waistband and ergonomic cut guarantee maximum comfort. The side pocket on the right leg can be used to safely store the most important items thanks to the zipper. The trousers also feature reinforced edge protection and a snow guard. The most important seams are taped. The product contains recycled material - for resource-conserving use.

ZIENER AQUASHIELD® membrane
This membrane distinguishes products that are waterproof and windproof to ensure a warm and dry climate. Their sponge structure ensures that water vapor can pass unhindered through the membrane to the outside and no water droplets can penetrate. The escape of water vapor through the gloves is determined not only by the material composition and resistance to evaporation, but also by the external climate. The permeability varies greatly depending on the body temperature in relation to the outside temperature. Depending on this, the vapor can escape or condense inside the gloves. This effect is completely independent of the material. Due to the low outside temperatures during winter sports, the condensation point is almost always in the glove.

lavalan® wool insulation
lavalan® is a highly functional wool filling made entirely from renewable raw materials, from European virgin wool and a corn-based fiber called polylactide (PLA). Virgin wool is a natural product with all the advantages of a high-tech material. Its unrivaled breathability ensures pleasant warmth and a constant body climate, making it ideal for use in outdoor clothing. Wool is able to neutralize bad odors and therefore contributes to longer use without unnecessary washing. It keeps you warm even when damp and is hypoallergenic. Best of all, wool is biodegradable and decomposes in both soil and water. All lavalan® products are thermally bonded during the manufacturing process. The PLA bonds the wool fibers in countless places, creating a durable and robust, yet soft and comfortable fiber filling for all types of textiles.

PFC-free products
In the case of PFC-free products, attention is paid to an environmentally friendly PFC-free impregnation that offers the same level of water repellency. PFC (perfluorina-ted and polyfluorinated chemicals) refers to a large group of chemicals that are intermediates, excipients or degradation products of certain fluorocarbon compounds. These are environmentally harmful substances. PFCs are used because of their water-, dirt- and grease-repellent properties. ZIENER is constantly working to remove the questionable PFCs from the lifecycle of its products.
