The breathable, waterproof and windproof ZIENER AQUASHIELD® membrane (water column 10,000mm/breathability 10,000g/m²/24h) ensures a warm and dry climate. A high-quality insulation mix of synthetic down keeps you particularly warm and comfortable even in extreme cold: the Comfortemp® padding ensures a natural climate without overheating. The high collar provides additional warmth. Thanks to the environmentally friendly waterproofing, the jacket is PFC-free. Technical details such as the fixed, adjustable functional hood, elasticated inner sleeve cuffs and numerous features such as pockets for ski goggles, sunglasses and a smartphone as well as a side ski pass pocket contribute to the high level of functional comfort of this ski jacket. The snow guard is also removable. The product is made from recycled material - for resource-friendly use.

ZIENER AQUASHIELD® membrane
This membrane distinguishes products that are waterproof and windproof to ensure a warm and dry climate. Their sponge structure ensures that water vapor can pass unhindered through the membrane to the outside and no water droplets can penetrate. The escape of water vapor through the gloves is determined not only by the material composition and resistance to evaporation, but also by the external climate. The permeability varies greatly depending on the body temperature in relation to the outside temperature. Depending on this, the vapor can escape or condense inside the gloves. This effect is completely independent of the material. Due to the low outside temperatures during winter sports, the condensation point is almost always in the glove.

Comfortemp® insulation
Thanks to the air trapped inside the structure of the various comfortemp® paddings, they offer excellent thermal insulation even at extremely low temperatures. A major advantage of the comfortemp® insulation is that it is highly breathable, but also extremely light and soft. You get a warm, cozy feeling when you put on a well-insulated jacket ensuring that moisture is absorbed while still allowing air to circulate. So perspiration will be no problem in the future. comfortemp® products contain a large proportion of recycled PET bottles.

Micro Down
Made of polyester, synthetic micro down fill is quick-drying and insulates even if wet (something down struggles to do). It is a very durable and warming insulation material, that is also soft and hypoallergenic. This polyester down is easy to care for and it's odor free. All of its features make it a high-quality alternative to real down.

PFC-free products
In the case of PFC-free products, attention is paid to an environmentally friendly PFC-free impregnation that offers the same level of water repellency. PFC (perfluorina-ted and polyfluorinated chemicals) refers to a large group of chemicals that are intermediates, excipients or degradation products of certain fluorocarbon compounds. These are environmentally harmful substances. PFCs are used because of their water-, dirt- and grease-repellent properties. ZIENER is constantly working to remove the questionable PFCs from the lifecycle of its products.
