The ALPINA MAROI’S clear lines and clean design result in a modern, distinctive shape. The shell of the helmet consists of two polycarbonate plates that fit together seamlessly thanks to Seamless Connection. Edge Protect protects the helmet completely, with soft surface transitions that add a touch of refinement the surface. The exterior is also defined by discreet air vents which are integrated at strategically important points. This ensures optimal ventilation in the goggles while keeping the air channels supplied with plenty of air. Inside, an all-new channelling system directs the air flow around the entire head. This provides cooling air while simultaneously conducting heat away. Not new, but more than reliable for it is the fit. It is identical to the top-selling Alpina helmet. The GRAP served as the model for developing the ALPINA MAROI. The optimised interior fittings with a shaped structure and segmented padding guarantee that it is as comfortable to wear and safe as possible, as the head is fully enclosed by soft material: for maximum protection and maximum fun in the backcountry.

Construction :  In-mold - In the inmould production process, the polycarbonate upper shell is thermally bonded to the Hi-EPS inner shell of the helmet body under intense heat and pressure. This creates a large and inseparable connection between the upper and lower shell. Advantage: The helmet is very light and at the same time extremely stable.
Hi-EPS - The inner shell of all Alpina helmets is made of Hi-EPS (High Expanded Polystyrene). The material has microscopically small air chambers that absorb the forces acting on the helmet in the event of an impact. Hi-EPS provides optimum protection and at the same time allows for extra-thin helmet wall as well as narrow helmet shapes.
Ceramic shell : All Alpina helmets manufactured using the inmold process are fitted with a robust ceramic shell. A polycarbonate plate is stretched under intense heat onto the shape of the helmet in the making and pressed onto the Hi-EPS body under high pressure and thermally bonded to it. The Ceramic shell is characterized by several qualities: It is impact- and scratch-resistant, UV-stable and antistatic.

Venting adjustable : Airstream Control - Air vents at the top of the helmet can be opened and closed using the Airstream Control mechanism. Fit adjustable :  Yes Run System Ergo Snow - The Run System enables all Alpina helmets to adjust to a custom size by using an easy-to-move dial. Alpina relies on the tried-and-tested Run System Classic for its ski helmets, a flexible head adjustment system with a central dial. A twist mechanism allows the headband to be adjusted more loosely or more tightly. The large dial is equipped with a non-slip two-component mix and can be operated perfectly with ski gloves.
