The Poacher is back this season to continue its reign as the preferred Factory Team ski of world class park skiers and filmmakers Colby Stevenson, Sean Jordan, and Clayton Vila. We've focused the design on stout durability and responsiveness with our Double Barrel core and Carbon Boost Braid. Add tip and tail rivets to this bomber construction and you have a ski that slays on rails and big booters as well as laps from the top of the mountain.
This ski does not come with bindings. We recommend a pair of bindings
with a brake from 5 up to 10 mm wider than this ski. Please feel free to
contact our customer service if you have a question about binding
compatibility. If you buy skis and bindings together we can mount them for you free of charge.
DETAILS
Gender : Men's
Type: All Mountain - Park & freestyle skiing
Riding Style: freestyle - Jib
Ski Terrain : Park & Pipe - Park and pipe skis, often called freestyle skis, are for skiers who spend the majority of their time on jumps, rails, and jibs of all kinds. Traditionally park and pipe skis have narrower waists with full camber profiles, but this category is incorporating more rocker patterns and different shapes. You will almost always find these skis with twin tips as well as other park specific features like thicker, more durable edges, dense extruded bases, and butter zones.
All-mountain - All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything
you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow,
and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any
one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is
what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat
waists that range from 80-110 mm.- All mountain
Ability Level: Advance - Expert
Rocker Type: Rocker -All-Terrain Twin Rocker – All-Terrain Twin Rocker is a gradual, extended rise at the tip and tail for added versatility and control in all conditions with twin tip skis.
Construction: Double Barrel Core - Denser, Fir core used over the edges for durability and power, combined with a lighter Aspen center core for a lively energetic feel.
TwinTech Sidewalls - A durable sidewall construction originally developed for twin tip skis that makes the top edges more resistant to ski vs. ski impact damage.
Core Material: Wood Aspen - Fir
Laminates : Carbon Boost Braid - Longitudinal carbon stringers woven into the K2’s patented Triaxial Braid for added pop and rebound, found on freeride and factory team skis.
Tip Width mm: 124
Waist Width mm : 96
Tail Width mm : 118
Asymm Tip / Tail : K2’s Asymmetric tip and tail design implements an elongated taper on the outside edge only, gives the uphill ski a much shorter effective running length, making it easier to control and maneuver whether slashing, buttering or just ripping soft snow. The longer inside edge provides added stability and floatation.
Shape : Directional Twin - Perfect for taking your tricks all over the mountain - even in powder.
Binding Din Range: No Bindings
