DETAILS
Gender : Men's
Type:  Touring
Riding Style:
Freeride - Touring
Ski Terrain : Alpine Touring  - Also known as backcountry skis, alpine touring (AT) skis are designed for going uphill as well as downhill. These skis are typically light for their width and many feature fittings that accept climbing skins. AT skis vary in width and weight, with the wider heavier versions usually used for winter/deep snow touring and the skinnier, lighter skis usually used for spring/summer/long distance touring
Powder - These skis are for the deep days. If you like to find powder stashes at your local resort, go on backcountry missions for the freshest of fresh or heli ski trips to BC, powder skis are what you need to stay afloat. Skis in the powder category are wide and most often have some form of rocker or early rise plus a relatively soft flex. Many powder skis today are versatile enough to handle mixed conditions and harder snow.
Big Mountain : Big mountain skis are designed for charging big lines with high speeds and big airs. These skis varry in width from wide, powder-oriented skis for skiing Alaska spines to narrower, mixed condition skis for ripping the beat up headwall at your local mountain. Skis in this category tend to be on the stiffer side, often with more rocker in the tip and less in the tail.
Rocker Type:     Rocker -All Terrain Rocker  - Designed for all ability levels, All-Terrain Rocker adds versatility and ease in all snow conditions. This profile features an elevated tip and tail for variable and soft snow performance, as well as camber underfoot for power, energy, and edgehold in firmer conditions.

Construction:
The HEX-Beam insert shifts mass away from the mounting point towards the tip and tail of the ski to increase swing weight and promote predictable turn initiation. This increases stability and tracking while maintaining power transmission. Uni-directional flax fibres run the entire length of the ski from tip to tail. This improves damping and saves weight for a stable and agile feel with low environmental impact. The Steadfast Base holds wax 9x longer than a high quality sintered base and requires 30 % less energy to manufacture. The improved wax adhesion prevents the skins from peeling the wax off the base.
Vibradet - reduces vibrations between ski and rider .Energy absorption underfoot. Reduces vibration between the ski/skier interface which enhances suspension and control.
Touring Technology
- For over 20 years, K2 has been working with guides and athletes to build the best backcountry skis on the market. This year is no different. Our team of guides were tasked with testing and setting the stage for the Touring Series redesign. From North & South America to the Alps and Norway, these skis have seen it all.
Core Material:    Wood paulownia-tour-ultra-lite .  Lively, flexible wood with excellent strength-to-weight ratio.
Laminates : HEX-Beam – Moves mass (titanal) away from the mounting points toward the tip and tail of the ski resulting in increased dampness and directional stability while maintaining power transfer in steep and deep terrain.
Uni-Directional Flax – Stability and weight savings adds composure to the ski allowing it to track more predictable in varied terrain.
Tip Width mm:
130
Waist Width mm : 110
Tail Width mm : 120
Tail Type : Partial Twin Tip

Partial twin tip skis have a tail that is turned up, but not as much as the tip. This gives you the ability to ski backwards and back out of tight spaces, but these skis are mainly designed to ski forward.
Shape : Directional -  Freeriders, ski-tourers and carvers love this shape for power and more stability.
Binding Din Range:    No Bindings
Manufacturer Warranty: 2 Years
Radius: 27,3m @ 184

The smaller the radius, the better the turning ability. A large radius brings a smoother ride at high speeds.
Bindings:  No
Base : Steadfast Base – Glide better, longer. The Steadfast base requires 30% less energy to produce and retain wax 9 times longer than a high end sintered base. The improved wax adhesion also prevents skins from pulling wax from the base.
Weight: 1750gr @ 184cm
More Features : Snowphobic Topsheet - Hydrophobic, snow-shedding top material that helps prevent snow from sticking to the tops of your skis.
